  1. This gravy is just amazing I was big hit at the vegetarian dinner I made. The taste, and consistency is perfect.

  2. My family is not vegan, but we had vegan friends over for Thanksgiving. I made this gravy for them and also turkey gravy for the rest of us. Your vegan gravy was so good, everyone preferred it to the turkey gravy. Now, I only make this vegan gravy for the family. Everyone loves it!

  3. I can’t believe how unbelievably delicious and easy this gravy is to make!!!
Thank you Nora for this wonderful recipe and for all of the other healthy recipes that you post. You are definitely my ‘go to’ for our meal planning ideas!

  4. Sooo good! Soooo easy!! Whenever Iโ€™m cooking anything, I always check to see if itโ€™s โ€œNora Cooks โ€œ has the recipe, because I know it will be excellent!

  5. How is this so simple but so delicious? Why have i wasted money on the nasty shop-bought when it takes exactly the same time to whip up?
    Thank you Nora!

  6. Wow! I was looking for a vegan gravy that didn’t contain mushrooms, (as my daughter doesn’t like them) and I came across this recipe. It just looked too simple to be delicious, but I read the reviews and all were great so I gave it a go for Christmas Day alongside meat gravy for the meat eaters. But guess what? The meat eaters switched over to the vegan gravy as they said it was so tasty. I won’t be making any other gravy in future as this one is just beautiful. Thanks for the recipe.

  7. It was very good and very easy. I might recommend that folks add the flour very slowly and whisk a lot to make sure it doesn’t clump up!

    1. Hi Daniel. I’m glad you love the taste and ease of the recipe! Thank you for your helpful tip! I appreciate your fantastic feedback!

  8. I remembered I had made this gravy in the past and was happy to find the recipe again. It is so quick, delicious and a wonderful colour. Thank you for sharing.

  9. Good, quick easy. I only used 1 Tbsp nooch since I was using a DIY bouillon powder that already had nooch in it. I used white rice flour since that is what I had open. Thickened nicely.

    1. I’m so glad you found the gravy quick, easy, and delicious! Thank you for sharing your wonderful feedback and ideas!

  10. This is the only gravy I make. Been making it for over a year and served it to many, many people including non-vegans and everyone always loves it. No need to adjust anything, itโ€™s perfect as is.

    1. Thank you for sharing your terrific feedback on the gravy! I’m glad you and all your guests love it! Happy cooking!

  11. Thank you for sharing this recipe. One question- is the dijon mustard referring to POWDER or is it the actual dijon mustard? Peace

  12. This has to be one of the simplest and tastiest gravy recipes you can make. I made it to go on our vegan turkey and it was a hit with everyone. Instead of the flour I used 2 slightly rounded tbsp of cornstarch in a bit of cold water. I usually make a roux and mix my flour into butter but as this recipe has no butter I just found it easier. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Healthy, tasty, easy and vegan making it low calorie as well!

  13. Sorry! I made a comment and forgot to rate it with 5 stars! Brilliant recipe. Easy and beyond delish! Your recipes are truly always a fave at our household!

  14. Another WIN from Nora! I have loved all of your cake recipes (truly my fave) and was looking for a vegan gravy recipe. When this one popped up and I saw it was yours, I knew it would be great. It is SO easy to make (and I’m grateful because I didn’t want another complicated thing to make for Thanksvegan). It tastes so good and I had every single ingredient on hand already! I am going to do a version with sauteed mushrooms and onion for a chunky version too. Thank you so much!! Your recipes are always outstanding!!

  15. I made this to go with a nut loaf I served (with other sides )when we had some carnivorous friends over for dinner. One of us has celiac disease so I made it without gluten and the entire meal was a hit! This gravy will be my go to from now on.

  16. GURRRLโ€ฆthis shitz AHHHmazing!!!

I twisted it up w sautรฉed fresh onion (instead of powder) and garlic in EVO.

Ate 1/2 of it w a spoon before my Thanksgiving dressing came out of the oven.

Thanks for sharing (cuz sharing is caring). Happy holidays!
